55 new coronavirus cases; Malta surpasses 500 active cases

The Ministry of Health announced that 55 new coronavirus cases have been detected in the past 24 hours with 13 patients having recovered.

This means that Malta has surpassed 500 active cases.

Out of the 55 new cases there are 5 family members of previously known cases, 4 contacts of reported cases, 2 positive from the Paceville cluster and one from a language school cluster.

The Ministry for health said that contact tracing is ongoing to detect possible new cases.
