“This one measure will lead to the scrapping of a substantial number of older vehicles and equipment that were not only less efficient but also environmentally unsustainable”, said Minister for Energy, Enterprise and Sustainable Development Miriam Dalli.

To reduce emissions within the construction sector, sector the scheme will be increasing aid intensity towards hybrid machinery and electric-powered equipment, said the Minister.
