Commercial vessels cannot disembark passengers in Gozo or Comino -TM

Transport Malta has issued further preventive measures against the spread of coronavirus but at the same time to try and assist the public with their possible queries.

The following are details related to commercial vessel activity issued by Transport Malta.

Commercial vessels and water sports operators will no longer be allowed to disembark passengers in Mġarr Gozo or in other places in Gozo or Comino.

Temporary extension of expired certifications, registrations and permits of commercial vessels, small ships and moorings.

These include:

  • Registration of Small Ships
  • Nautical Licenses
  • Certification of Commercial Vessels
  • Certification of Competency
  • Mooring Permits

Also, boat owners must have a valid insurance policy at all times.

Transport Malta said that these measures come into force with immediate effect.
