Marco Bonnici, Malta Union of Teachers President told Newsbook.com.mt that the coming days will be crucial for most schools. He explained that if the spread will raise the measures related to schools will need re-evaluation.
According to Mr Bonnici the government plans are still in-line with the October re-entry measures since the situation was stable.
MUT will be following closely the situation with all parties concerned while keeping its members informed.
A school has already announced that for the first two days they will be switch to online classes. The Minor Seminary in Gozo said that Thursday and Friday classes will be delivered online. An evaluation will be carried out on Saturday to decide how to proceed.
