Clint Camilleri has been appointed as new Gozo Minister. This was announced this evening by Prime Minister Robert Abela.

He will be replacing Gozitan Member of Parliament Justyne Caruana, who handed in her resignation this morning, in the wake of reports linking her husband, Silvio Valletta to Yorgen Fenech. Valletta, former deputy police commissioner travelled with Fenech to watch football in the UK.

In a press statement, Prime Minister Abela also announced that former Gozo Minister Anton Refalo will be appointed Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights, the portfolio that had been given to Clint Camilleri last week.
