Ċirkewwa road will stay unlit at night until parts arrive from abroad

The road leading to Ċirkewwa will be illuminated once again as soon as Transport Malta will receive the light bulb parts from abroad.

A spokesperson from Transport Malta confirmed with Newsbook.com.mt that a large section of Triq il-Marfa will be illuminated once again at night after their contractor Polidano Group will be replacing a cable that has suffered some damage. The contractor also found a number of broken bulbs which will be replaced once the parts arrive from abroad.

On the 8th of September Newsbook.com.mt had reported that Triq il-Marfa had been left without light provision for a number of days. At that time a Transport Mala representative had told Newsbook.com.mt that they have instructed the contractor to repair the damage that had “caused due to the strong winds” and refrained from answer in when the problem developed or when it would be fixed.
