One of the most wanted men in Europe and in the United Kingdom, Christopher Guest More Jr, was moved from the Corradino Correctional Facility (CCF) to be extradited to the United Kingdom.

This was announced in a statement issued by the Maltese government.

The extradition flight was coordinated by the British authorities with the involvement of the Maltese authorities.

On Sunday an aircraft was sent to Malta specifically for Christopher Guest More Jr who was considered as one of the most wanted persons in Europe and in the United Kingdom. He had also lost a long legal battle not to be extradited to his country.

The Maltese government said that the Malta Police Force had arrested Christopher Guest More Jr in June 2019 last year following a European arrest warrant.

The operation was carried out under strict security measures with the involvement of the Malta Police Force, the Correctional Services Agency and the Armed Forces of Malta.

The Aviation Security Malta (AVSEC) also participated in the coordination of the operation.
