The Catholic Church is celebrating the feats of Christ the King on Sunday. This feat will close the liturgical year. Archbishop Charles J.Scicluna and the Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Galea-Curmi are inviting all those of catholic faith to join them for the diocesan celebration at St. John’s Co-Cathedral in Valletta.

The celebrations will start at 5pm with the rosary in front of the exposed sacrament. Sacramental blessings will also be given. The evening prayers will be sung at 5.30pm. During the evening prayers, the Archbishop will give his reflections on this important catholic feast.

The traditional walk of faith from the Christ the King monument in Floriana will not take place this year due to the bad weather forecast.

Everyone is invited to join.
