Change in bus fare

For those who do not have a Tallinja Card, and buy their tickets on the bus will start paying 50c less for a two-hour ticket.

In a Facebook post, Tallinja announced that as of Sunday, commuters will be charged €1.50 for a day ticket which can be used within two-hour.

Single journey fare tickets are the only ticket that can be purchased in cash from on board the bus for immediate use. €10, €20 and €50 notes may not be accepted and it is advisable to always have the correct change.

Those in possession of a Tallinja Card, enjoy cheaper bus fares throughout the year, the company reminded.

CHANGE IN CASH TICKET PRICE As from today 13 October, the price for cash tickets bought on the bus is €1.50, which is the off-peak rate.Tallinja Card holders enjoy reduced rates throughout the year.
