Withdraw the warrants of Brian Tonna and Karl Cini, urges David Casa

Member of European Parliament David Casa, said that both Karl Cini and Brian Tonna should be deprived of their accountancy warrant because they were at the centre of corruption and money laundering allegations since 2013. He said that Nexia BT is Malta’s Mossack Fonseca.

Casa wrote a letter to the Accountancy Board.

Mossack Fonseca, a company formerly based in Panama was disbanded after allegations of money laundering were exposed and revealed in Panama Papers.

Casa urged the Accountancy Board to take disciplinary actions against them in the light of the evidence available because they are casting a shadow on the profession of accountants.

In his letter, Casa explained that he is ready to present all the evidence before the Board and that he does not wish that the damage that was done to the financial regulatory bodies following the Pilatus Bank case would be repeated in their regard.
