Campaign to attract Middle-eastern tourism to the Maltese islands

Malta has appointed experts in international tourism Aviareps to represent its interests in Cyprus and the Middle East as from 1st September.

Carlo Micallef Deputy CEO and Chief Marketing Officer at the Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) is confident that Aviareps will help achieve the MTA goals on increase in the number of quality tourism. Aviareps will be promoting Malta’s historical centres, culinary delights, local craftsmanship amongst others to increase quality tourism from this region through a mix of public relations and various forms of marketing.  The team is also responsible for raising Malta’s reputation as an ideal business and leisure destination based on authenticity.

A number of initiatives are in the pipeline and willbe rolled out within the Middle Eastern market for the rest of 2018 and throughout 2019.
