Buffon swaps shirt with Lilian Thuram’s son

Gianluigi Buffon, who moved to Paris Saint Germain on a free transfer after ending a 17-year spell with Juventus, swaped shirts with Marcus Thuram after yesterday’s 3-1 win against Guingamp. Marcus is the son of former French defender Lilian Thuram who played alongside Buffon at both Parma and Juventus.

The Guingamp striker was born on August 6th 1997 in Parma and started his senior career with Sochaux in 2015. His father is France’s most capped player with 142 appearances and enjoyed a brilliant career during which he won two Serie A titles, the UEFA Cup, the Italian Cup and also the 1998 World Cup.
