BOV branches in Żabbar and St Paul’s Bay will reopen, the bank announced in a statement on Wednesday.
The Żabbar Branch was temporarily closed after an employee tested positive for coronavirus. The branch was disinfected and the health authorities have given the go ahead for it to reopen as from Thursday.
St Paul’s Bay Branch has also been reopened following closure due to urgent works caused by flooding in the area.
In a statement on Wednesday, BOV thanked its customers for their support and understanding and assured them of its commitment towards the safety and well-being of both customers and employees.
Customers are encouraged to check whether their branch has been impacted on its website.
Customers are encouraged to limit the risk of contagion by using the bank’s network of ATMs, BOV Internet Banking, BOV Mobile Banking, BOV Pay and BOV Cards for their banking and payment needs.
On the other hand customers requiring non-cash related services such as home loans, personal loans, investments, account opening and applications for new internet banking services are requested to set an appointment with their preferred branch by calling on 2131 2020 or sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
