BOV Gżira branch recloses after third party tests positive for Covid-19

The Ħamrun branch has reopened with limited services.

The Gżira Bank of Valletta (BOV) Branch is to close temporarily until further notice after a third party tested positive for COVID-19.

The branch will be thoroughly sanitised and will reopen once it is deemed to be safe for customers and staff. The Health Authority will contact those individuals who might have been exposed to the contagion as part of their contact tracing protocol. 

Cheques deposited on Wednesday 14th October through the Cheque Box Deposit will be processed after the 19th October.

Ħamrun branch reopens with limited services

In other news, the Ħamrun branch is to reopen with limited services. These services are those related to cash and handling of queries until further notice.

The branch was temporarily closed after one of its staff tested positive for COVID-19. The Bank engaged an infection prevention control specialist to disinfect the Branch, and following confirmation by the Health Authorities, the branch is now safe to reopen for business.
