Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman passes away

43-year-old actor Chadwick Boseman, perhaps most famous for playing the title role in Marvel’s Black Panther, found out he had colon cancer four years ago but did not reveal his diagnosis to the public.

Boseman played black icons Jackie Robinson and James Brown early in his career.

Black Panther was the first superhero film to get an Oscar nomination for best picture.

Boseman died at his home in Los Angeles with his wife and family by his side.
