Bishop Giovanni Cefai’s pastoral visit to Malta came to an end

A press release issued by the Archdiocese of Malta communicated that Archbishop Charles Scicluna co-celebrated mass with Bishop Cefai at St. John’s co-Cathedral in Valletta on Friday.

Bishop Cefai who has been leading the Territorial Prelature of Santiago Apóstol de Huancané in Peru from the past months, explained how this visit will a cherished memory due to the love that he experienced from the Maltese and Gozitans.

Mass was celebrated on a very important day for Peru, the feast of Santa Rosa of Lima, which is celebrated in over 31 parishes around the country. Bishop Cefai, who originates from Gozo said that this saint lived a life of penance, charity and prayer.
