Cool Ride-Pooling and RMF come together for a Christmas campaign with a difference

We all know that having a few drinks before getting behind the wheel is never a good idea. This Christmas avoid a lifetime’s worth of devastating remorse and don’t drive under the influence. Just be Cool and share a ride instead. 

This is the key message of the joint Christmas campaign being launched by ride sharing company Cool and leading roadside assistance company RMF just before the peak of festivities. 

Last year, Malta registered more than 15,000 road-related accidents with some 1,356 of these resulting in injury to the driver, passenger or pedestrians, in some cases fatal. It is always a risk to underestimate the effect of an extra drink or two on your driving ability. 

Ride-pooling with Cool means that you can have that extra drink safely without worrying about getting back home safely at the most affordable prices imaginable. Together is also better with Cool, and from today till 30th December, a second passenger will travel with Cool for just €1, when booked by the same passenger.

Laura Jasenaite, Cool Ride-Pooling CEO, stated: “We know that this has been a very challenging year for everyone and it is understandable that one might wish to share a couple of drinks – while observing the directives by health authorities – with family and friends. But celebrating does not need to take place at the cost of human lives. This is why we’re asking people out there to keep in mind their loved ones and avoid drinking and driving”.
