Auxiliary Bishop to lead mass dedicated to World War victims

On the occasion of Remembrance Day,  Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral of St. John in Valletta. It will be led by Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Galea-Curmi.

Mass will begin at 9.15am, and will be broadcasted live on’s website.

Tomorrow, all victims of both World Wars will be remembered among all the Commonwealth countries. 

After Mass, a ceremony near the War Memorial in Floriana will be taking place.

The Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) and a Contingent from the Police Force will form a joint Guard of Honour at the ceremony where wreaths will be laid. 

A contingent of ex-servicemen from the Royal British Legion, together with other organizations, will also be participating.
