The Auxiliary Bishop, Mgr Joseph Galea-Curmi, met up with Maltese missionaries who work worldwide, but are now in Malta for a holiday.
Mgr Joseph Galea-Curmi who will be ordained next Saturday, praised their work. He said that they put Pope Francis’s words into practice, as he insists that it is important for the Church to help those who live on the fringes of society.
Mgr Joseph Galea-Curmi thanked the Malta Emigrants’ Commission, which has been established by the Church in Malta, and MISSIO Malta (The Missionary’s Office) for the help they offer to Maltese missionaries.
This meeting was organised by the Malta Emigrants’ Commission as well as MISSIO.
