Auto firm’s appeal “frivolous and vexatious”

Car rental firm, Burmarrad Commercials Limited was given a €1,000 fine after it lost a Court appeal which was deemed “frivolous and vexatious”.  The firm has to pay the Court expenses as well.

In its sentence, the Court explained its persuasion regarding the firm’s knowledge of the division of a contract into thirteen parts, without publishing the offer and without the chance of price revision.

Burmarrad Commercials Limited appealed the decision coming from the Contracts Department which annulled the contract between the car rental firm and the Broadcasting Authority.
