“Authorities ignore me or do not follow-on”

A desperate mother shared her frustrations on Facebook on how Maltese authorities are denying helping her son enter a rehabilitation programme in Italy as Malta does not have an adequate rehabilitation programme for his age group.

The woman relates her discontent with government ministers that ignore her pleas and the amount of messages sent to the Prime Minister asking why Malta does not cater for drug rehabilitation programmes for young people between the ages of 12 and 17.

She also describes her helplessness when faced by unconcerned police officers and by authorities that seem to be oblivious to reality and well as urges the creation of schemes that help the young generations to learn to love themselves and be disciplined.
