A group of people are organising several activities to remember those who lost their lives in the Mediterranean while they were trying to seek asylum.
The first one will be held this Thursday at 7:30 pm in Marsamxett port.
The organisers said that people will continue to die in the Mediterranean. They also said the lives of those who died will be treasured from those who love the and that politicians must demonstrate respect for life and human dignity while continuing the search for solutions.
“Death should not be accepted as a side effect in the search for asylum”, they wrote on Facebook.
By the time of publication of this article, around 100 people said they would attend the event.
