Archbishop Scicluna meets with Mgr. Cefai during visit from Peru

Archbishop Charles Scicluna together with the Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Galea-Curmi today met with Mgr. Giovanni Cefai, who arrived in Malta from Peru this morning.

In a statement, the Archdiocese of Malta said that the meeting took place at the Archbishop’s Curia in Floriana this morning.

The is the first time Bishop Cefai has visited Malta since 3rd April, when Pope Francis appointed him as Bishop of the territorial prelate of Santiago Apóstol de Huancané, in Peru.

To commemorate the occasion of the Bishop’s first visit to his home town, Żebbuġ’s Parish will be publishing a commemorative card with a special Maltapost stamp.
