APS Sliema branch closed after employee tests positive

APS Sliema Branch will remain closed on Saturday after one of its employees tested positive to coronavirus, the bank announced on Friday.

Informing its customers on Facebook, the bank said that all measures were taken in accordance with the health authorities’ advice.

The bank will update its customers on when the branch will be re-opened.

On Friday, the tenth coronavirus-related death was registered in Malta. A 72-year-old who had tested positive for coronavirus on 14 August, passed away.

During the weekly briefing, Superintendent of Public Health Professor Charmaine Gauci reported 36 new coronavirus cases as 58 more patients made a recovery. The total number of active cases stood at 682.
