Air Malta flights affected by bad weather around Europe

Air Malta also said that it is being faced with an industrial action from the Operations Controllers in relation to a Collective Agreement increase. This results from a dispute between 2 unions which are currently being heard by the industrial tribunal to decide if the Operation Controllers can be considered to be a separate bargaining unit.

Air Malta said that it has already subcontracted the service to an external specialised service provider.Air

Today, more than 200 flights were cancelled due to a security breach which led to the temporary shutdown of a terminal in Munich. Although no flights to Malta were cancelled, they were still affected.
