Air Malta retracts decision on flights to Italy

Air Malta flights which were previously cancelled due to a strike taking place in Italy are back on schedule, the national airline said. The decision was retracted within hours of announcing that the flights had been cancelled.

The four Air Malta flights which had been cancelled were:

  • KM640/1 and KM 642/3 from Malta to Catania
  • KM624/5 from Malta to Milan-Linate
  • KM612/3 from Malta to Rome

All affected passengers were invited to call Air Malta on 2599 1230 to change their flight.

The airline apologised for any inconvenience caused, whilst stressing that given the circumstances, it had no option but to cancel the flights.
