Four new destinations have been announced by Air Malta, these being Tunis, Kiev, Moscow Sheremetyevo and Tel Aviv. Flights to Tunis are expected to start as early as 31st July, but the other destinations are scheduled to restart by the first week of October depending on health and safety assessments.
Furthermore, the press release issued by Air Malta explained that it has also increased frequencies on London and Catania and from August it will be operating 10 weekly frequencies on London Heathrow and nine weekly flights on Catania.
Last week saw the restart of nine new Air Malta destinations (Amsterdam, Brussels, Milan Linate, London Heathrow, Lisbon, Madrid, Palermo, Paris Charles De Gaulle and Orly). The airline’s Manchester route will restart on the 1st August. The press release added that there has been a gradual increase in bookings, but that it is too early to assess passenger’s expectations and perceptions.
Flight prices (including taxes and charges) start at €39 one way and are available on-line and through all local and foreign travel agents.
