Air Malta: 27% increase in passengers in July

Passengers for Air Malta increased by 27% in July this year, compared with last year’s statistics.

Air Malta issued a statement saying that a total of 228,982 passengers flew with Air Malta flights to and from Malta. Paul Sies, the Chief Commercial Officer said that there has been an increase each month and the Air Malta Chairman claimed that they are content with the substantial increase for the third consecutive month.

The Minister for Tourism Konrad Mizzi said that the airline’s aim is being reached and that in this way, success is continuously achieved in the sector of tourism for the benefit of the Maltese economy as a whole.
