Friday evening PN leader and Leader of the Opposition Adrian Delia replied to questions on Xarabank on the latest developments related to the PN leadership crisis. In these last two days, Adrian Delia has faced a barrage of criticism by 17 PN MPs who want him out.
He has also been faced with the resignation of Secretary-General Clyde Puli, Deputy Leader Robert Arrigo showed his intention to resign and the resignation of the President of the PN General Council, Kristy Debono. Also, on Thursday, In a letter, PN grandee Louis Galea said that he will ask the President of the PN Executive Committee, Alex Perici Calascione, to make sure that the PN Executive takes all measures to form a new leadership team.

He concluded the interview saying that he must assure that the political price he has and is paying for entering politics is justified by his vision for the future of the party.
Adrian Delia has been asked about the high political price he has paid in entering politics. He said he needs not to worry about his future as he is sure of what he is doing because he is doing it with loyalty and because he believes in what he's doing.
"I cannot not have the will to win the general election," said Adrain Delia. Then said that he was elected to run the party for 5 years, till the next general election.
He said that as leader of the Opposition he cannot choose the parliamentary group in the sense that when he was elected he found a team which was already there and he then tried to build bridges with each and every one MP.
Adrian Delia is asked if the PN runs surveys. He says that yes surveys are carried out by the party. He said that surveys are important because they can determine the decision making.
I cannot permit anyone or a selected few to decide who should or should not be the leader of the PN just because they do not like him and reverse the vote of the party members as it suits to some. It would be irresponsible from my end. There was a process which elected him and it should be respected, said Delia.
Adrian Delia said that he feels he is expected to do what journalists write in articles or editorials and not do what the party members, who elected him, want.

He is saying that he was elected to give the PN back to the people and explained the role of Louis Galea within the party. Adrian Delia said that Louis Galea's role is to give him advice.
Delia is being questioned about the position taken by Louis Galea who is currently responsible for the reform process within the PN.
Adrian Delia said that he is currently worried especially if there is even one MP who wants the Opposition Leader to different from the Party Leader.
Delia is explaining how he was elected as the leader of the Nationalist party by its members. He said he was given the trust to run the PN by the party members.
PN Leader said we cannot ignore the survey published last Sunday.
Adrian Delia is asking the presenter, Mark Lawrence Zammit, to be given the time to answer his questions.
He said that the current situation the PN is in has been escalating for the past 2 years and not just after the survey published last Sunday.
Adrian Delia has said this is a historic moment for the party. He said he has no information about others who have the intention to resign.
