92-year-old becomes Malta 31st COVID-19 victim

A 92-year-old woman died while being positive with Covid-19. This marks the 31st COVID-19 related death in Malta.

The elderly woman tested positive for COVID-19 on the 15th of September. The Ministry said the woman who was residing in a home for the elderly, had underlying health conditions.

The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the relatives of the elderly, called on the people to continue to follow the appeals of the Department of Health, including frequent hand washing, social distancing, and mask use.
