79 drivers were caught over speeding on Coast Road, on Sunday morning.
The police said that one vehicle was found to be driven at 121km/hr in a 70 zone.
On Sunday morning the Traffic branch mounted a speed enforcement operation on the Coast Road. This was done as part of a number of similar operations for a week of European wide targeted speed enforcement.
Over 200 vehicles were checked on Sunday morning. The police found that 79 drivers were caught over speeding, two were found with passengers not wearing a seatbelt or child restraining safety device, one of which was an infant, while two vehicles were found to be driven without front number plates.
