65 persons were fined €100 each today for being in groups of more than 4 more persons, on the first day of the legal notice being amended to allow groups of 4 rather than 3.

This was announced by the Government in this evening’s daily coronavirus bulletin.

Today saw a number of non-essential shops reopening their doors, ranging from clothing stores to flower shops. The court also reopened, whilst people were told to wear masks on public transport and in shops.

No one was found breaking obligatory quarantine during the 305 inspections carried out in the last 24 hours.

The appeal remains that everyone should remain responsible and cooperate with the directives being issued by the authorities.

3 new cases were announced today, and 7 more persons have recovered from coronavirus.
