Five people including a child, have died following a collision between a small passenger plane and helicopter, on the island of Majorca.
According to local Spanish reports, the crash killed the two crew members on board to the helicopter and the three passengers on the plane.
The crash is believed to have happened around 1.30PM close to the town of Inca. No nationalities of the dead have been identified.
An investigation is currently being carried out by the Spanish Civil Guard at the scene.
It’s believed that the crash happened around 1,000 feet above the ground before causing a fire on impact with the ground.
The Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said that, ‘My solidarity and affection for the families of the victims who have lost their lives in this tragic accident, including a minor,’

The President of the Balearic Islands Francina Armengol, has also commented saying her thoughts are with the victims.
‘The emergency teams are working right now at the scene. Our thoughts are with the victims,’ she said.
