A total of three new coronavirus cases have been registered in Malta after 977 swab tests were carried out in the last 24 hours.
This was announced by the Health Ministry on Facebook, on Friday.
The health authorities have announced that seven individuals have successfully recovered from coronavirus.
Meanwhile, 33 cases remained active as from Friday.
72,992 swab tests have been carried out so far.
As from Friday, Superintendent of Public Health Prof. Charmaine Gauci will not hold a press briefing giving details about the individual cases.
The daily press briefings were reduced to three times a week before they were scraped off.
