Another 28 individuals have successfully recovered from coronavirus after they tested negative twice. The announcement was made by Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Chris Fearne on Facebook. A total of 44 individuals have recovered since the first case was registered on 7 March.
Malta has registered a total of 350 coronavirus cases in Malta. Three individuals aged 92, 79, 84, have died from coronavirus. The first life claimed by the virus was that of a Gozitan woman who died on 8 April.
The health authorities have urged the public to remain at home over the Easter weekend. The public was also asked to refrain from having Easter meals with the extended families and only stay with those from the same household. Such measures are being implemented to curb the spread of virus within the community.
