2,500 persons attend educational fair

2,500 persons attended an educational fair organised by the Ministry for Education and Employment. The fair provided informative sessions regarding the choice of specialised subjects on offers to Year 8 (Form 2) students.

The event was part of the implementation of the My Journey reform. The fair was aimed at providing the students with all the necessary information on available academic, vocational and applied subjects. The four vocational subjects included in the upcoming curriculum are Media Literacy, Hairdressing and Beauty, Textiles, and Fashion and Retail. These are also included in the applied subjects’ choice that also include Hospitality, Agribusiness, Health and Social Care, Information Technology, and Engineering Technology.

During the fair, career advisers and information sessions were available to guide the students.
