The health ministry has reported the deaths of two other Covid-19 patients on Wednesday evening, bringing the death toll to four deaths in a day.
The total number of victims has now reached 69.
The latest victims reported by the health authorities in the evening are a 63-year-old man and an 83-year-old man.
The 63-year-old patient was hospitalised on 12 October and was found to be positive on the same day. He passed away on Wednesday at Mater Dei Hospital.
The 83-year-old patient tested positive on 1 November. The patient was a resident at Mount Carmel Hospital where he passed away.

An 86-year-old man and an 87-year-old man have become the latest coronavirus victims.
The 86-year-old man was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital on 1 November and was found positive on the same day. He died in hospital.
The second man was also admitted to Mater Dei Hospital on 1 November and was found to be positive for coronavirus on 2 November. He also died earlier on Wednesday.
The health ministry said that the two men suffered from other chronic illnesses.
While offering its condolences, the health ministry reminded the public to continue observing social distancing rules, practice frequent hand hygiene and make use of masks. On Friday, Prof. Gauci urged the public to wear a mask when leaving home.
On Wednesday, Malta reported 84 new infections bring the number of active cases is now 1,853.
