 – In 2013, Electrogas group was granted the right by the Maltese government to build a 450 million euro ($517 million) gas power station

Electrogas also entered into an 18-year agreement to supply Enemalta with liquefied natural gas and electricity for the project

Electro Gas Malta (EGM) is owned by GEM holdings, 33.34 % (in which Tumas Energy Co Ltd holds 35.16 %) , Socar Trading 33.33 % and Siemens Projects Ventures 33.33%.

2. June 2015

17 Black opened an account in Noor Bank in Dubai. It was frozen in September 2019

3. July 2015

US$ 200,000 payment was sent to 17 Black by Orion Engineering, a company owned by local agent for the tanker unit feeding LNG to the new power station.

4. November 2015

U$1.4 million sent by an Azeri national to 17 Black via ABLV, a Latvian bank.

5. December 2015

Nexia BT partner Karl Cini sends e-mail to Mossack Fonseca providing information about the payments that will be made to Dr Mizzi and Mr Schembri’s Panama companies with 17 Black named as a “target client” namely a source of income for the offshore shell companies.

6. February 2017

Daphne Caruana Galizia refers to 17 Black for the first time on her blog.

7. March 2017

17 Black changed its name to Wings Development.

8. May 2017

Daphne Caruana Galizia publishes extracts from an FIAU report investigating 17 Black should be passed on for police investigations.

FIAU receives transaction information from Latvia about 17 Black. Yorgen Fenech is identified as 17 Black’s owner in this report.

11. April 2018

The Daphne Project, a consortium of journalists from across the globe, including The New York Times, The Guardian and Reuters, comes together to continue where Caruana Galizia left off.

Konrad Mizzi says hat there is no connection, direct or otherwise, between Dr Mizzi, his company or trust, and any entity called 17 Black

The Times and Reuters reveal that Yorgen Fenech is the owner of the mystery Dubai company 17 Black.

14. 19th November 2019

 Yorgen Fenech has resigned his position as CEO of the Tumas Group according to documents filed.

15. 20th November 2019

Armed Forces stop the private boat belonging to Yorgen Fenech shortly after it left Portomaso at 5:30am. 

16. 20th November 2019

Yorgen Fenech is arrested as a person of interest linked to the assassination of Daphne Caruana Galizia.
