17 Black: Malta has all the information – Gomes

Maltese authorities have received information about the owners of the company 17 Black last February according to the Member of the European Parliament Ana Gomes.

On Twitter, Gomes said that the Government agency against money laundering in Malta (FIAU) was given details about the owners, the company account and the transfers that occurred through the bank ABLV in Latvia.

She added that the source in the FIAU report revealed that it is MPE Nazzjonalista David Casa. She said that no steps have been taken by the police against the money laundering and that Minister Konrad Mizzi and Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Keith Schembri were not confronted.

On Twitter, David Casa said that Maltese authorities knew the owners of 17 Black but did not act upon this information.

Due to The Daphne Project, a total of €1.3 million was transferred to the company 17 Black, which transfers money to the companies in Panama of Minister Konrad Mizzi and Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Keith Schembri. Times of Malta are part of this project.
