Malta has registered 152 new coronavirus infections following _ swab tests in the last 24 hours.
The number of active cases stands at 2,115 after 103 made a recovery.
To date, the pandemic has claimed 125 lives.
From the cases reported on Wednesday, the following have been traced to:
- 23 family members of individuals who tested positive
- 5 work colleagues of individuals who tested positive
- 4 individuals who were direct contact of positive cases
- 2 cases from social gatherings
82 remain unaccounted for.
