150 new coronavirus cases as death toll stands at 92

Malta has registered 150 new coronavirus cases on Friday while the number of fatalities stood at 92. The health ministry announced two more coronavirus-related deaths the day before while Superintendent of Public Health Professor Charmaine Gauci announced two more deaths on Friday.

2,124 cases remain active as 101 have made a recovery.

The new infections were registered following 3,035 swab tests.

Details of the cases are set to be given out by the Superintendent of Public Health Professor Charmaine Gauci during her weekly press conference.
