15 cases of coronavirus were detected in the last 24 hours after the health authorities carried out 1,358 swab tests.
Three individuals have recovered, the health authorities announced.
The number of active cases now stands at 125 while the total recoveries stand at 468.
The infographic contains no details on whether the individuals were symptomatic or otherwise and such details will be revealed during the press briefing scheduled for Friday.
The figures for Thursday were published on the Health Ministry’s Facebook Page. The Superintendent of Public Health, Prof. Charmaine Gauci, started delivering the medical briefing on the coronavirus situation three times a week instead of the daily briefing. On Monday she explained that Malta has now entered a “transition phase” and that the number of briefings will be reduced.
Briefings are being held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
On Wednesday, 15 new cases were registered with the total number of active cases rising over 100.
