140 new COVID-19 cases; 131 more recover

The Ministry for Health reported 140 new cases of COVID-19.

The latest daily bulletin also confirmed that 131 patients have made a recovery. This means that the number of active cases is now 1,832.

On Sunday morning, the Ministry announced the death of two COVID-19 patients; a woman aged 91 and male aged 80 years old.

From the 100 cases announced on Saturday; 7 were from family members, 18 cases from work colleagues, 5 were direct contacts of positive cases, 3 imported cases and 3 from social gatherings.

The rest, 64 cases were sporadic.

The cases announced on Sunday are still being investigated for contact tracing.
