Malta has registered 133 coronavirus cases on Tuesday following 2,664 swab tests.
The pandemic has so far claimed 117 lives with the health authorities reporting four coronavirus-related deaths on Monday.
2,082 cases remain active after 107 made a recovery.
So far 55 cases have been traced from the 80 reported on Monday, with 25 remaining unaccounted for.
The cases have been traced to:
- 16 family members of individuals who tested positive;
- 5 work members of individuals who tested positive;
- 3 individuals who were in direct contact with positive cases;
- a case was from a social gathering
