123 new coronavirus cases registered; 2,051 active cases

Malta has registered 123 coronavirus cases on Friday, up by 27 from the previous day following 3,100 swab tests.

The health authorities announced that 105 made a recovery, which means that 2,051 remain active.

To date, 10,320 coronavirus cases have been registered, while the virus has claimed 149 lives.

Superintendent of Public Health Professor Charmaine Gauci will be addressing her weekly press briefing at 12.30pm where she will be announcing the latest details in relation to the pandemic.
