100 new cases of Covid-19

100 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported overnight, while 22 patients have been deemed to have made a full recovery.

The latest daily bulletin issued by the health authorities confirms that the number of active cases now stands at 703.

The new cases were identified through 2,315 swab tests, which bring the total number of swab tests in Malta up to 277,626.

There have been 3,681 cases of Covid-19 in Malta since the start of the pandemic. While 2,937 have since recovered, the pandemic has claimed 41 lives, many in the past month.
