The number of active Covid-19 cases remained unchanged overnight, with one new active case reported while another patient made a full recovery.
In their latest update, health authorities said that the new case was an isolated one, and that all the tests carried out in relation to the five cases reported yesterday were negative.
A total of 1,044 swab tests have been carried out in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of swabs since the arrival of the pandemic in Malta to 80,953.
The total number of cases reported is now up to 646. While 601 people have made full recoveries, the pandemic has claimed nine lives in Malta.
