10 tonnes of waste collected from Bugibba and St. Paul’s Bay daily

Ten tonnes of rubbish is collected from Bugibba and St. Paul’s Bay every day, Parliamentary Secretary for Public Cleansing, Deo Debattista has said.

Debattista also mentioned that the Division of Cleanliness and Maintenance would be implementing an emergency campaign for these two localities which will see an additional collection in the late afternoon.

Every day from 5PM, eight workers from this division will be sent to these areas to pick up any remaining rubbish and conduct maintenance work on road furniture.
